The Calling

Each one of us has gifts and talents that the Lord has made available to us. Whether you are a singer, writer, author, teacher or an athlete—you have a gift. That gift is not only used for your good, but also for the good of those around you. We use our gifts for the up building of His kingdom. We use our gifts and talents to bless others.

We all have a limited time here on earth. Everyday we should use those talents that the Lord has blessed us with to uplift someone else. Do not let your gifts and talents go to waste. God has a special plan for your life. He is going to use your talents for His glory. Your gifts are going to be the opened door to someone else’s answered prayers. Your gifts are connected to so many other people. Someone is waiting for you to make it because their calling relies on what God has called you to do. Use your gifts and talents.

Be a vessel. Open your heart unto Him and see how He can miraculously move on your behalf. Be confident in your talent. It was given to you by our great God. Decide that you are going to break barriers with you gift. Decide that you are going to set records with your gift. Decide that you are going to break generational curses with your gift. Decide that you are going to walk in that gift.

Seek God. Work on strengthening your gift daily. You have everything you need to go forward in what the Lord has called you to do. Start acting in your calling. You are equipped for this very moment. His grace is sufficient. Your calling is waiting for you with open arms—embrace it. Do what the Lord has placed on your heart. Use your gifts and talents.

“Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.” Romans 12:6-8

“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
