The Lighthearted Weight

Laughter and lighthearted moments are so beautiful to experience through the triumphs and tribulations that we endure in life. Embracing times of love and joy displays the character of God. Taking the time to find laughter and pleasure within the atmosphere of your everyday existence, will help to strengthen your relationship with God. There will be moments while spending time with the Holy Spirit, that you will find yourself bringing forth concerns in a lighthearted manner. God hears and acknowledges you; it does not make your petition or prayer any less important. In fact, it is a great thing when we can embody the times that we bring our delight and joy into His presence. The goodness of God can be seen by the laughter and excitement that radiates within our spirit. Welcome the lighthearted moments during this season of your life.

To have a leverage of happiness and gladness in our most painful moments prove that we are so deeply adored and loved by God. He generates light to us through the very people and spaces that He has created. God is so intentional about you and everything that involves you. Even though you may have experienced or are experiencing weeping and sorrow, God will in turn give beauty and joy for your mourning. Hold tightly to the moments that bring delight to your weary heart. Embrace the silliness of the time spent with family and friends. Take notice to the times of good news and cheer. Rejoicing in your heartache shows the grace and strength of Jesus in you. Continually choosing joy in the middle of your disappointment unveils God’s fruitful nature within you.

Your journey deserves moments of gratification. Celebrate and bask within the lighthearted occasions of this life. God created us to laugh and smile; not only for ourselves, but for others. Your spirit of happiness can be the reason someone decided that they should give life another try. The gladness that follows you, will inspire someone to further their relationship with Jesus. Your positivity matters to God. The joy of the Lord is contagious. Practice living within the boundaries of laughter and pure optimism. Let the goodness and satisfaction of God shine through the darkest of places. Laughter is soothing to our minds and bodies. There is healing within our lighthearted moments. God is healing those hurtful places within you by sending you laughter and light. Ecclesiastics 3:4 tells us that there is “A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.” Maybe this is your season to laugh. You have had seasons of mourning and sadness; in this season, the radiant joy of Jesus will live in you. As God gives the weight of lightheartedness to you, He is also strengthening and healing you. His gladness is part of your plan and purpose.

“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” -Proverbs 17:22
