Life has a great way of grabbing our attention at times. Sometimes we can find ourselves so overwhelmed by the bigger picture, that we forget the things that are right in front of us. If you are focused on finishing an entire list of things to do for the year, then you may miss the pressing matters and priorities that need your attention in the present. God has our future moments and occurrences in His Hands. God has not given us full access to live in our future happenings; however, He has given us full authority to walk in the places and positions that are available to us right now. We must be careful to not let our focus on what will happen supersede what is happening now. We can be attentive to the things that God is calling us by name to do in this season. What is in front of you holds far more weight than what is coming. How you steward over the assignments and the spaces that God has given you in this moment, will determine the future capacity at which God can use you.
While you have full capability and resources within this moment in God, use it to complete what lies in front of you. How you sew the labor of your purpose now, will establish the reaping of your future harvest. How you use your time and skills in this moment will affect the outcome of your nearing success. Let your current placement be your focal point. Steward over your present assignments well. Ask God to help you prioritize and decipher what His desires are for you in this season. He will remove what is inessential to your calling. Dive into the things that matter in your walk with God. You were created for purposeful works during this period. Anything that is subtracting you from God’s instructions in this season can no longer lead you.
Make the best use of what is in front you. Incorporate your commitment and devotion in what you are building right now. Encompass your passion and enthusiasm for the things that you are pursuing this season. Create space for what lies in your path currently. There is purpose in your stewardship. Your future promises will happen. Focus on the tasks and the assignments that are in your view. God appreciates and honors your faith for the things to come. What is before you right now requires what God has put in you. Do not get stuck in everything that needs to be done. Shift your attention on the assignment from God today. Steward over what is in front of you that needs your nourishment and service in this season.
