We have all endured days when defeat feels like it has won. Days when everything is hard and you cannot seem to navigate in the space around you. There is always hope, but sometimes our hope lies in tomorrow. Take the rest you need for a clear heart and mind. That project will still be there tomorrow. Your schedule will find you when you are ready to pick it back up. Everything will be in the same position for tomorrow. Sometimes our best happens in the morning. If all you accomplished today was getting the bare minimum done, that is ok. If you only achieved a portion of your to-do-list, then that is ok too. When life knocks you down, place your burdens on His shoulders. Some days are heavier than others. In the heaviest of moments, acknowledge that you need to relinquish your control; free yourself from the expectations of the life around you. Honor that moment of need and hand it over to God. In the morning you will find the strength to go on.
Your spirit is telling you to lay the day down in His presence. God is letting you know that it is ok—He is our strength in weakness. Being able to start again conveys to your heart that you need a disconnection from the world around you. The morning brings about a fresh anointing for your work and mind. The morning reveals a new position of the sun and clouds for each day. It expresses a gratitude with each fresh encounter of life around us. There are many things that can only be seen in the morning. It will be ok. Even though you cannot see past the horizon of today—tomorrow is a new day. Your breakthrough may lie in the morning. The revelation that you have been desperately seeking after will come in the morning light. What you have been praying for, will happen in the morning.
The darkness of yesterday cannot coexist with the light of the morning time. Take the garments of tiredness, stress and anxiety off of you. New perspective lies within your surrender of the heaviness of that day. If all you could do was hold on until the morning, then you have done all that you need to do in this moment. God sees you and recognizes your efforts to try again in the morning. That revolutionary moment will chase after you when you give up this moment of weakness. He will never leave you or forsake you. His light awaits you in the morning. It gets better in the morning.
