The comfortability in our everyday life and schedules can become a safe haven for us; the familiarity of our routine feels secure. Constantly walking in the things that are convenient can cause us to remain stagnant and stuck in the normalcy of our lives. Sometimes God is calling us to take a leap of faith. Taking a step of faith will never come easy. In the process, God is going to require you to trust Him with every ounce of being in your heart and mind. Perhaps your best season is waiting on the other side of your leap. Your heart will know when God is calling you somewhere else. You will have a prompting in your spirit to go. This leap of faith will show you all that God has in store for you.
A ballerina’s leap is beautifully and gracefully executed all the way through until both feet effortlessly touch the ground. There is an elegance to this technique. The leap is fully, carefully and completely finished. It is done with an understanding that they will land delicately. Just as the leap of a dancer, you will land gracefully in the next area in your life or career; however, the technique of your leap will be difficult. The leap may cause you to fall down a few times. In those falls, we must learn to get back up again. The leap may cause you to question your decision while in the midst of your jump. During that uncertainty, it is important to be reminded that Jesus is with you always. Your leap of faith will be hard. The execution of the leap will be messy, exhausting, and frustrating. Nevertheless, when your leap is done, you will divinely land on the ground of everything that you have been praying and waiting for.
Leaps are scary; there is no guarantee you will not fall. Taking a moment of faith and collaborating with God can change the atmosphere. If you are deliberating on a decision to take a leap of faith, bring your heart to God and He will validate you. Regardless of the matter that you are seeking, take your leap confidently. Know that God is for you. You will stumble; make room to listen to His voice and instructions along the way. Wherever God guides you His provision will cover you. Your resolution and way out may be on the other side of your leap. Your future friends or spouse may be waiting for your leap to come to fruition. His grace is sufficient in all that we do. God can take you from a leap to soaring with Him to new heights. If you know that God is calling you in a new season—leap. He will be there to catch you when you are breaking. It will not be easy; God is beside you. Your landing in that new space will become solid grounds for God to show up in a new, groundbreaking and unconventional way. Take that leap that has been pressing on your heart. Your next assignment or blessing can be found on the other side of your leap of faith.
