As it is in Heaven

“The Lord Almighty has sworn, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen.” —Isaiah 14:24

When God has declared a thing as so in your life—it shall be. The word of God will not return back to you void. Time has way of wearing us down to make us forget the promises of God. Right now, in this moment, ask God to take you back to that fertile ground moment of remembering what He has established in your life. What did He say to you in that moment? What was spoken over you that heaven agreed with? Maybe you have been trying to make something happen completely in your own strength. Maybe you have allowed fear to paralyze your steps. Maybe you keep replaying past failures that have wounded your heart. God cares and still desires to use those promises. Just because it has not happened does not mean it never will—it has been established as so. Those promises still hold weight, but require a partnership with God. This partnership reflects what God is doing in your season of establishment. If God is delaying what is happening, you must incorporate patience. If God is closing a door, you must embrace acceptance. If God is moving you to something new, you must break the chains of the old things. Our obedience is needed to position ourselves in His wisdom. God has already established it as so in our lives, but we do not always perceive it; subsequently, our feet must align with His steps and our hearts must align with His revelation. You will see the fruition of the dreams and visions that the Lord has placed upon your life.

When Saul anointed David as king, David did not step into his role as king immediately. In fact, he was sent to serve as a musician in the palace to help Saul while he was wrestling with an evil spirit. (1 Samuel 16:14-23) Afterward, David went back to being a shepard. David was obedient until his calling became actualized. He did not rush the process to become king. He did not allow his occupation to define his outcome. David embraced the process of becoming everything that heaven had already prepared for him. He partnered with the movement of God. He did not go before Him, but trusted and obeyed His voice. In this season, how can we better partner with God to steward what has been planted in us? What does this look like in your life? Maybe it is learning to walk by faith and not by sight. Maybe it is allowing God’s voice to reign instead of others. Maybe this simply means learning to let go of what you envisioned it would be. His promises are for you. You were on His mind before you were formed. God has a plan and purpose for you. You are the vessel the Father is using. Let His work become a tangible source in your life. Agree with what heaven has already revealed for this earth to see.
