Lost and Found

Whatever you have lost in this season, God will intercede by giving you restoration. God specializes in replacing, restoring and renewing. Whatever loss has burdened your heart, will be renewed by His everlasting promises and love. When we experience the loss of something dear to us: a friendship, job or relationship—we struggle in navigating new territory, it can cause us pain. Maybe your breakthrough is in what you lost. In our loss, God will take that opportunity and turn it for our good. Not everyone and everything can go with you on your path of purpose. Maybe you had to lose certain relationships, people and opportunities in order for God to position you. In your season of restoration, God will show you that His intentions for you are always of good. Maybe what you have lost is actually leading you to what you will find. What you have lost cannot be compared to what is coming. God is replacing and renewing what was lost so you can prepare for what will be found.

After experiencing loss, we slowly pick up the pieces of what is left. What if that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity lies in one of those lost pieces? What if your healing is in what you lost? What if that better friendship or relationship is found inside of your loss? What if we looked through the lenses of loss and started to see what could be found? You had to experience this loss in order to gain all that was meant for you. God makes all things new. God does not waste what we have lost. Out of the dry season of loss, will sprout a beautiful renewal of God’s promises in your life. The loss will hurt. It will feel soul-crushing to try to move forward. God is still with you. Maybe this season was made for you to learn to operate without what you have lost. Perhaps this season of loss is for your gain.

What if everything that was falling apart is actually falling in to place? When your world is shattered by loss, God’s plans are still valid. Just because you have experienced loss, does not mean His promises have changed. Loss does not define you. In fact, we have to lose in order to gain. If you have everything and do not experience loss, then what is there to gain? In comparison to our walk with God, we have to let go of ourselves in order to see the fullness of the Spirit. With Christ, we can redefine loss as a chance for God to show up with His best for you. What you are letting go in this season will become fertile grounds for His plans to be planted. What you are releasing will bring you closer to your destiny and purpose. You will find all that He desires for you in what you will lose. God will bring increase to what you will find.
