The Transitional Area

From point A to point B; from one season to the next—the transitional period can be hard to navigate. The transition to something new can leave us in a vulnerable place. Our surroundings become shaken by the obscurity and the unknown. The things that were once familiar to us are now a distant memory. The comfortability in our everyday lives has developed into unrecognized territory. In this changeover process, God is lifting all of the things that have created a safe haven for you. He is removing the barriers of acquaintance with your routine. The transitional area will reveal the evolution that God is using to transcend you in this new space.

Sitting in the room of transition helps you to understand God’s purpose and promises over your life. Layer by layer, piece by piece—you will start to rip off the covering of your contentment and complacency in what is already seen. As we shift from one season to the next, we are fully submerged and submitted to what God intends for us to newly craft. Though you are unaccustomed to what you are walking into, His strength and presence will be with you. Nonetheless, you may find it difficult to find a steady landing during this process. Before God brings you into your purposed place, the transition must occur. There is revelation and insight that God is teaching you along the way in the movement of your position.

Transitions are hard; however, when God is ready to catapult you from waiting to walking, from living to thriving—it will be worthwhile. As you are transferring and adjusting from season to the other, God is pruning and growing you. There is purpose in every season. The waiting season has purpose. The transitional period has purpose. The fruition time has purpose. The transitional area is serving you. When you fully indulge into what God is placing you in, you will know how to navigate in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. By taking up the roots of familiarity, you now have to fully trust in God. This season is made for you to empty yourself of your own strength and rely solely on His power. All though this period may feel like you are riding from one stop to another—it has direction. You will find your footing in the newness of this season. You will be met with the steadiness and the firmness of God’s instructions and wisdom on the other side of this transition. You will find the blooming of your desires beyond this transitional point. Stay rooted in His presence as He shifts your path.
