“For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.” -Luke 12:48
When purpose meets faith, it is an unstoppable force with the Holy Spirit. As we seek the will of God for our lives, sacrifice is required from us to maintain the blessings of God. There is a responsibility that lies within us, as we ask God to align our vision with His. As we receive instructions and information about our purpose, much is required from us as we form a partnership with God to sustain His plans. There is a level of sacrifice that we must be willing to take on to complete the work of the Lord. No one can stop the blessings and works of God from happening in your life; therefore, we must be prepared for when the wind blows in our direction. We must be prepared to stay committed to the process. God gave you the influence because He created you for it. God gave you the leadership because He knew you would make His glory known. Jesus was known by His works. People flocked to Him because they knew His power and strength. People saw the ministry of the Lord throughout the land. He bore witness to the work of His Father. There is an offering of time and work that must take place as we walk out the will of God.
The more you are knocking to seek and find, the more you will become inclined to the voice of God. As you begin to speak more life into people, expect your faithfulness and dedication to become more distinguished. As you stretch your worship further in His presence, be prepared to become a vessel of His grace. As you walk in the shallow waters of His word, discipline will become a requirement from you. There is a step of sacrifice and workmanship in the pursuit of His purpose. God walks us through the wilderness and development stage for our good. Your preparation for His purpose births from the seasons of empty faith and the deconstruction of our hearts. Everything you went through will help you understand the levity and weight of what God is giving you to carry. With more anointing comes greater obedience and obligation. With more anointing comes greater trials and tribulations. God is entrusting you with His promises. The understanding of the investment of His plans, become sharper as we stand in agreement with God. As we pray for more of Jesus and His will, more becomes expected from us to pursue the fullness of His glory.
As we position ourselves closer to God, more faith, discernment and willingness are necessary for our works through Christ. He is always there, holding our hands through the fire. When it begins to rain, you can stand under the umbrella of His protection. When you are running out of strength, grab onto His garment for restoration. It is never in our own strength that we are working towards fruition, but the strength of the Holy Spirit. As you are executing the purpose of God, lean not on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all things. The promises of God outweigh our disappointments and fears. Though you may have to stand alone in your works—so be it. Though people may not understand your process behind closed doors—so be it. Though the motion of your steps may be shaky—so be it. The anointing requires a cost from you. We cannot stand the test without perseverance. Stay faithful in the small and mighty matters of Jesus. Your obedience in the course provides clarity over His will. As we receive more in our hands, the more accountability that will stem from our hearts. God will give you the efficiency and effectiveness to help you maintain the sacrifice in your purpose.
“This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.” -1 Corinthians 4:1-2
