You have done everything. You have prayed, begged and petitioned for God to move for you or on someone else’s behalf. You are left with more questions than answers. You cannot feel God move despite your faith and prayers. Be assured that when you get tired, God will lead you beside the still waters. The stillness will find you and wrap your weary soul with peace. Be still and know that He is God. In the stillness, you will find the courage to simply stand on His promises. In the stillness, the patience of God will meet you where you are unsettled. You have cried and hoped for something to change in your life. God hears you. In all of your frustration and sadness—He acknowledges your pain. His timing will show up for you in due season. Be still and know.
In the stillness, the voice of God becomes an echo of the promises that He needs you to stand on. In the stillness, the volume of His power ignites the fire He wants you to hold on to. Be still and know that He is God. We cannot change or restructure the will of God. We do not have access to future happenings in our lives; therefore, our faith must partner with the knowledge of God. It is no longer faith if we are reacting to what we are are seeing around us. The unknown and hidden things of God require our faith and understanding of what God has already spoken into our lives. If God promised it—it will happen. Keep declaring and praying over what has already been established from God in your life. Stand on the scriptures of God’s covenant to you. In the stillness, you will be renewed by His faithfulness that will shine upon you. There is beautiful sound in the silence when you give God your heavy heart. There is loudness in His strength that covers you in the stillness.
You will hear clarity in the voice of God while you are waiting. You will see signs and wonders in a new perspective as you are positioned with an open mind and heart unto the Lord. Be still and know that He is God. This season may simply call for you to be still and stand on His word. Speak the plans over your life in the silence. Let your praise and worship permeate the atmosphere of the quietness. When you sit in the stillness, God speaks volumes in you. Some seasons were created just for you to position yourself in the presence of God. The instructions, discernment, discipline, information and purposes will become distinguished and resounding. All of heaven will reflect and repeat the promises of God into fruition on earth. Be still and know that He is God. The Lord will fight for you—just be still.
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!-Psalm 46:10
