We have all found ourselves second-guessing our positions in life. Maybe you struggled with wondering if you are actually the one to do the job. Maybe you have pondered if you are really making an impact on your children’s lives. Maybe you have questioned your ability and potential throughout the course of time. You are positioned exactly where you need to be for your calling in this season. It is not by mistake that you have been made for this time. God needed you in position for the job that you are currently doing. God needed you in position to continue to encourage your children throughout the uncertainties of this world. God needed you in position to use your abilities and skills for His glory. What you have been doubting and concerned with, is what you have been created to do in this space.
You were chosen for this time. It is not a coincidence that you are seeing and sensing confirmation from God. It is not by accident that you are walking in moments you prayed for. It is not by chance that you are experiencing the supernatural power of God in your circumstances. You were created for this purpose to do the work of the Lord. Imagine if David was not in position at that time of battle with Goliath. The enemy would have won. The story of David and Goliath would not hold the same weight and promise that it does; however, David knew his purpose in that moment. He knew that the story was not over—it was just the beginning of what God was going to do throughout his life. He understood the levity and importance of why God positioned him for such a time as that. David knew the enemy had a plan, but God had the master plan. He was planted at the right place at the right time. You are needed in this moment. What you carry has power and life because you are in tune with God’s promises. When God places you in position, just like David, you will be effective and efficient. You will conquer every giant that is tossed in your way when you are in position. You will never miss the target or mark when you are in position. You will never let intimidation or fear win when you are in position.
We can get rid of the what-ifs and the worst case scenarios in our lives. This is it, right now, you are in position for this very assignment. You cannot let fear keep leading you. David was so confident that he was backed up by God—so are you. David probably never realized that his story of faith would become famous for generations. You have that same potential in God: to make your mark with the grace of God on this world. You are in position to fight giants with The Holy Spirit. You can throw out every single question and replace it with faith. You were created for this. It will be hard and trying; keep holding on to what God has said to you. David illustrated why he was created for that moment and purpose. There is reasoning behind your positioning in God. You were created and chosen for such a time as this.
“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” -Esther 4:14
“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we are all the work of Your hand.” -Isaiah 64:8
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my Name, He may give it to you.” -John 15:16
