God designs the most beautiful and majestic miracles out of the darkness. God created the most amazing and powerful pieces from the darkness—the heavens and the earth. Once light appeared, it was good. The light followed the darkness. In our darkest seasons, the light will pierce its way through to find you on the other side. Comparatively to a tunnel, as you travel through the narrowness and dimly lit underpass it can feel tight and uncomfortable. In the tunnel, the makings of your glory moments are taking place. In the anxiety of the confined space, God is walking with you. While in the tunnel, God is preparing and shaping you for the light that is coming at the end. The light will follow the darkness. You have to endure the unknowns and unbearable obstacles that will eventually lead you to the view of brighter days.
In the tunnel and dark days of your seasons, hope will find you as you keep walking through this life. You may be at the beginning of traveling through a tunnel season, or you may be toward the end, whatever part of the tunnel that you are experiencing— keep traveling forward. The sun that was once beaming on you before the darkness, is waiting to shine upon you again. Jesus is in the gloominess of this season with you. The light that was created by God is anticipating your arrival at the endpoint. Out of the darkness, God originates joy from our saddest encounters. From the tunnel moment, there is fresh anointing that is positioning you for sunny days ahead.
You can only encounter the brightness of the light at the end of the tunnel. This season will not last forever. God will speak to your darkness and births light. You can make it through with God. His most prized moments come from the darkness. Out of the darkness of the whale that swallowed Jonah, came the obedience and following that God desired. Out of the darkness in the lions den, Daniel was saved by an angel of the Lord. Out of the darkness of the woman that suffered with the issue of blood, came her greatest healing after touching the garment of Jesus. Though you are in darkness of your circumstances, God is fostering the lightness of His grace that will encompass you. Do not be dismayed by the slim purpose that you are seeing. Out of the darkness, comes the most significant and powerful seasons that lie in front of you. The light of Jesus will guide you as you navigate the darkness of the conditions surrounding you. The light always follows the darkness. God will shine His light upon you.
