“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” -Psalm 37:5
Commitment spreads far and wide within the places and surroundings that we encounter. Wedding vows are formed in commitment to one another. Friends request our commitment to their needs. Jobs demand our commitment to the work. We are constantly swamped with commitment throughout our everyday lives. Commitment does not come easy. We have to create the necessary adjustments to make sure that we carry out our word. Commitment requires our work. God desires our commitment from the beginning to the very end. How will you commit yourself to the works of God in this season?
The work behind the commitment is tedious and difficult. You will have to endure sleepless nights and restless days to get the job done. You will have to wrestle with doubt and fear to overcome. You will have to shed sweat and tears in the process. You will have to stay grounded within your commitment to the work that God has given you. You have the full capability to complete your purpose. God is so committed to you that He will never start a work in you without the intention of finishing it. The dedication and faithfulness is already inside of you. You would not have this assignment from God if He felt you would not succeed. What is from God cannot fail. Your commitment is hard, but keep pressing ahead. Your devotion and diligence in this season is in the sight of God. He sees the attentiveness and efforts you are putting forth. Your commitment through your works will ultimately reveal the fruits of your labor.
The business that you are running—keep putting your best work forth in that commitment to God. The job that you just started—keep finding your footing within that company; you will master it soon. The relationship that you are trying to fix—keep trusting and praying. God sees your commitment through your works. God is going to bring your works to fruition. You must keep committed to the performance of your projects in this season. Keep committed to the support of your family in this season. Stay committed to praying in this season. If you remain motivated, you will eventually see the results that you have prayed and worked for. Stay committed to the word of God. Your faith and works are part of your commitment. Your vow is so dear to God. He needs your commitment to partner with Him to complete and fulfill His promises and vision over your life. Stay obligated to what you are currently tasked with. Stay faithful in your assignment. Your commitment has influence on the outcome. God is preparing you for the fruition of your commitment in this season.
