There are so many things in life that we do not have control over; situations happen that we cannot change. In this, we can rearrange the narrative of what we can change. You can create your own light around the heaviness of life. We have control over our heart’s stance. We can access our own cheer and delight despite what is surrounding us. Remaining in the light through tough situations is hard. It is easier for us to choose fret and worry. There is beauty in choosing to find the light in every situation and season.
Stepping in the light despite dissatisfaction reveals the strength and anointing that covers you. You carry your light everywhere you go. When you come across a space where you cannot control what is happening to you—activate your light. Switch your focus to the light. We can turn on an open heart to let others experience His grace. We can shine in His glory knowing that everything is going to be okay. What does your light say when you go into a new territory? How does your light react to the hardships that you are facing? Remembering to always navigate in the space of your light, will help you to fully trust in God. When you appoint the atmosphere around you with light, you can feel the shifting of God around you. Be the one that radiates the love of Jesus wherever life finds you. What is coming against you has no authority in the midst of His light that shines within you.
Engaging in finding the goodness through our struggles, will assist us in altering our outlook in unchangeable situations. Maybe in this season you are struggling to seek out the light in your current circumstances. Maybe you are getting stuck in the motions of the uncontrollable storms of life. There are so many battles in this life that we will have absolutely no control over; however, we can always find something to make it better and more enjoyable. Shining your light will help to illuminate the world around you. It may be hard to find that light most days. We can always rely on Jesus; the source of our light. Instead of putting our energy and stress into what we cannot change, we can shift our hearts on what we can fix. Use this as an opportunity to turn to Jesus—for He is the light. Perhaps God is refocusing your attention to see the light in what you are going through. Maybe He is using this season to remind you to activate your light in all things.
