Establishing Grounds

Everything has a beginning. When God created the heavens and earth, it was considered as the beginning. Your purpose has been established since the very beginning; therefore, we cannot despise our small beginnings. We will repetitively encounter fresh anointing and new seasons in our lives. The fertile grounds that you are stepping into will be difficult; however, it will serve as the foundation of your starting point. Sometimes the smallest victories feel inferior. We can become stuck in the cycle of the fruitless process that we are experiencing as we are being established. Nonetheless, what God has established in you, no one can change. What is coming out of your establishing grounds will initiate His glory yet to be revealed in you.

The beginning is always the hardest. Often times, the beginning is the place where the enemy’s tactics start to surface. The development stage is where fear can find a place to sit. The starting point becomes tainted with our perception of doubt. The beginning is imperative. This season of establishing your grounds will require your faithfulness through and through. You will engage in rainy conditions that will make it difficult to walk through. You will battle with setbacks that will produce rocky grounds. You will not always see the fruit of what you are putting down. Keep establishing and building in your calling. Without your purpose, someone will miss their blessing. Without the grounds that you are going to lay, there will be no future generations in your groundbreaking profession. Without your works, someone is going to miss their life-changing moment and breakthrough. When God established you, He did so very intentionally.

The calling was made specifically for you. God did not call everyone to the same grounds that you have been established in. You have been marked since the beginning for a reason. God gave you the talents, ability, understanding and skills to conform with His visions and plans. Whenever you may find yourself in a season of new beginnings, you can appreciate what is birthing in you. You can understand the importance of the grounds that you are about to enter. There is no outcome without a beginning. The world needs your beginning. Your friends needs your beginning. Your children need your beginning. Do not despise your small beginnings. Your beginnings are so important to God. He will set the foundation in everything that is attached to your establishment on earth.

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” -Zechariah 4:10
