Life is constantly teaching us new lessons throughout our days. We develop a deeper intimacy and understanding of God in what we go through. Though never easy, the lessons that we learn help us to pull back the many layers of God’s will in our lives. We are constantly absorbing everything that life throws our way. In that, we can make use of the information that is available for our good. We can learn what is required for us to position ourselves with God. We grow in discipline and compassion as we encounter the outcomes of the lessons that life has to offer us. When you find yourself in a struggling lesson, reshape your thoughts. You can ask yourself, what is this teaching me in this season? Alternatively, you can also ask, how can I serve someone in this season of what I am going through? Position your mind and heart to truly experience the lessons to be learned in every season.
In order for us to comprehend the lessons of life, we must be teachable. We must decrease in order to see His increase in our lives. Open your heart to God. It may feel vulnerable, but stay in the lesson plan. When your willingness to learn throughout every season of your life meets God’s will, the impossible becomes within your reach. We cannot grow without learning. Sometimes the lessons will become great. The lessons will stack up against you. Sometimes it becomes hard figuring out how to make sense of everything. Sometimes the lessons even overlap one another. The lessons may even be found in the funniest things. Find value in your circumstances in this season. Make what you are going through an opportunity for God to reveal the unknown to you. There is knowledge about your future that is waiting to be found. What we are learning each day is necessary on our walk with God. There is purpose in every season.
Lessons are learned through the experiences and mistakes we will make. We uncover understanding, perspective, perseverance, instructions and obedience throughout what is learned. Encountering the lessons of life is required for us to enhance our relationship with God. We must embrace each learning opportunity. There is provision in the lessons that we will become acquainted with. Just like a particular curriculum is taught in school, the courses and lessons are used as learning tools for us to navigate through life. In your difficult seasons, learn all that you can. In your best seasons, learn all that you can. Adjust your current view of your knowledge. God is always teaching us something. Discipline yourself in the position of receptiveness. Are you listening to what He is saying? Do not miss the lessons in the valley and on the mountain top. Your breaking point may be in this current season, but you will have to endure the lesson that is being produced in you. What is God teaching you in this moment?
