How you go through the hardest times in your life will become the guide for someone else’s journey. Someone somewhere is watching your strength and tenacity. Your trials are not placed here ineffectively. Your story makes a difference. The challenges you have faced will be an example of how God was with you. What does your story tell others? Your life has been ordained as an example. Everything that you have endured exhibits the promises of God. What is your life demonstrating to the world around you?
You have been placed in uncomfortable places to reveal His glory. Those places need to see you as proof of His grace. Your words hold weight and your actions hold power. God chose you as a servant to those who will cross your path. Eyes are on your story and your life. God has entrusted you with this responsibly and position. You may be the only instance of God that someone will see. Your purpose is tied to someone else that will need to experience your testimony. The disposition of your heart will be an anchor for others. The way you exude kindness during the darkest hour of your life speaks volumes. The way you keep trusting when there seems to be no hope says something. The way you forgive despite what was done explains a lot. How you handle things when life goes awry will become the magnifying glass of the epitome of your faith.
Your joy will naturally draw people. Your strength will point others to Jesus. Your story has so much purpose. On the hard days when you feel the worthlessness of life, remember those moments are important as well. Others are not pointed to God because of perfection—but rather the determination shown. In the days of disappointment, cling to Jesus. Let the world around you know that you will have struggles, but you can overcome and recover with grace. What is your life saying to the world you live in? What are you doing with eyes that are on your story?
