A Graced Shifting

God will break you to position. He will break you to promote you; and break you to put you in your right place, but when He breaks you He doesn’t hurt you— He doesn’t. When He breaks you He doesn’t destroy you, He does it with grace” -Tasha Cobbs Leonard

In everything, there is a grace that speaks volumes over your life. There is a grace that covers you through your journey. There is a grace that holds power and anointing in your story. A grace that is responsible for your healing. Jesus has given you the same grace that was bestowed upon Him. You can point to moments of His grace in yourself. We can trace graced moments in the pieces of our existence and being.

Whatever God’s calling is upon your life, there is grace from the very beginning until completion. When we are broken, there is a grace that maintains us. If we tune in, we will start to find this grace in the little moments throughout our day. If you are currently struggling in this season, His grace is always there to comfort you. Even though you may be surrounded by an abundant amount of stress, perhaps you are in a season where God wants to shift you with His grace. You may be surrounded, but His grace over your life surrounds you even more. This moment that is trying to overtake you is going to be shifted for your good. A graced shifting is occurring in you. Instead of looking at the sea of confusion, God sees this as an opportunity to step in and amend this season for you. He is modifying your surroundings in order for you to encounter that grace. The process of adjusting your heart and everything that is connected to you must first take place. During this process, you will be tested on all accounts. God is getting ready to place you in higher positions and callings. His grace will hold and refresh you in that moment.

There is a fresh anointing in your spirit that is ready to unite with heaven’s promises over your life. This season was not meant to break you. A shifting has to take precedence over your temporary emotions and feelings. It will feel lonely and painful, but His grace will meet you right where you are. God needs to pull bad habits out of the way. There are some people and things that cannot go with you in this new anointed season. A dismantling of what no longer serves you has to transpire. God needs you to see this upcoming season with fresh eyes. He is doing something new that will require a new perspective of faith from you. There has to be an uprooting in order for God to establish you. He is laying the groundwork to embrace everything that is coming to you. When God’s grace shows up, all things are made new. When everything around you feels fragile, His grace will carry you. God is simply arranging the pieces of your life to fit into all that God needs you to become. In this season, let His grace sustain you while He prepares you in this moment of shifting.

“And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.” -Romans 11:6

“For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.” -John 1:16

“You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus,” -2 Timothy 2:1
