Standing in Agreement

Living in the unpredictable and unstable times that we are in, can be extremely hard and terrifying for us to find a glimmer of hope throughout life. You may find yourself experiencing what feels like the unimaginable. You also probably know someone that is dealing with the same amount of stress that comes with being in this world. It is important for us to continually stand in agreement with our friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances and others through prayer. Whatever that person you know is believing for, you can touch agree and stand with them through their need. The Bible tells us “For where two or three gather in My name, there am I with them.” (Matthew 18:20) God is in mix of your agreement with one another.

There is so much power in prayer. When we come forth with our petition and prayer on behalf of someone else, we are making that request known to God. Heaven is ready to receive our prayers. Pray without ceasing for the concern of one another. That person you are praying for may be holding on to what little hope they have left. That person may feel unable to find the words to speak. God sees their pain. Even though they cannot find the words to say—you can. You can stand in the gap for them. You can choose to pray over them and with them. There is power in the tongue and what we speak to one another. When you may feel led to pray for someone—pray. That person may need someone to care enough about them to stand on their behalf. Someone may be tired of praying and may need your belief for their unbelief. We all will experience moments of doubts and tiredness. It is absolutely hard going though day-by-day; we are all trying to stay above water while experiencing an overwhelming amount of pain. However, when we choose to stand in agreement on someone’s behalf, we can truly see the power in prayer.

If God has showed you a moment of complete healing for someone, a better time for someone or something that is beneficial to their lives—stand in that. Stand on what God has showed you about that person. There is power in Jesus for the person you are touching and agreeing with. When the Lord shows us people through dreams and visions—believe it. Do not count it as random. God is revealing to you that by His stripes that person is healed. He is showing you that there is an expectation date for that person’s sorrow. Go forth in declaration with heaven that this person is going to be free from the hurt and pain of life. Declare that person is going to smile again. Stand with one another and continually declare and decree. When you believe that through God all things are possible, then you can begin to see the power of God being unleashed in their life. Your connection through God by prayer will be met with His glory here on earth as it is in heaven.
