Connecting to God’s Voice

We learn everyday that communication is extremely important for maintaining relationships in life. Being in communication with one another helps us to acquire information that is valuable to our everyday lives. Equivalent to God, He has information pertaining to you that He wants to share with you, but if our lines are essentially closed off we cannot hear God. Is your connection open to God? How can we say that He does not speak to us, when we have blocked the connection to Him. God is always communicating to us. We have to make sure that we have an open reception to respond to what God wants us to hear.

A clear connection is what God desires from us. It is so hard to hear the voice of God in your life when you are bogged down by disconnections and interruptions. We have to mute the things that are restricting us from full access to God. If we are willing to ask God to speak, then we should be willing to listen. Hearing, listening and understanding are key factors in your relationship with God. We can speak to Him when our heart desires to and He speaks to us in return. Are you connected to God’s line? The Holy Spirit speaks to us in many formats. Thoughts, dreams, visions, convictions, through other people; all of these are ways that He can communicate with us about the important matters of our lives. Learning and discerning the voice of God in your life is going to give you a better acknowledgment of Him.

Keep tapping into the connection that brings you to His voice. How He wants to communicate with you may look different sometimes, but His voice is still the same. Let your heart’s posture long for Him. Are you praying to hear the Lord speak to you? If so, position yourself to have an open reception so you are able to distinguish His voice. Let your lines of communication be open and willing; therefore, you can receive all that He is doing in your life. Connecting to God’s voice is a game changer. When we are tuned in, we are fully connected to His kingdom. You do not want to miss out on what is happening in your life. Be in partnership with Him. Hearing the voice of God will build a stronger connection in your relationship with Him. Pray for better understanding and openness to hear The Holy Spirit. Continue to connect to God’s voice throughout all of the important decisions and desires that may come your way.
