The Race of Perseverance

Sometimes it feels like we are running a never-ending race in our lives. It feels like we are constantly jumping over hurdles and running through obstacles along the way. Perseverance is the staple key that is going to sustain you during the hard runs of life. Perseverance shows us the fruitful nature of God. You produce in perseverance. You produce strength and purpose while persevering. You produce endurance and stamina. Your perseverance matters.

Your perseverance will point others to Jesus. Others will be inspired by what you have gone through and how you made it to the end. Others will want to know what you did to get ahead in the race. People will come to know the power and mercy of the Lord. They will see God in you by your harvest. They will see the footprints you left in the race through your perseverance.

As we are running this race, we will encounter stumbling blocks in our lane. Life will try to knock us down. We must be determined to stay on track. When you feel tired and defeated, you must keep going. In your weakness, that becomes the perfect place for you to pass the baton to God. You cannot lose with Him on your team. Your perseverance is dear to Him. He is going to use your story to reveal His glory. You have to keep going. This race was laid out for you even before you were born. This race is occurring at your own speed. There is no competition. There are no limits. There is nothing that can happen by surprise without God knowing. Just keep listening for directions from Him for the completion of this race. He is holding you while you conquer this race called life. Keep persevering forward. He is guiding you to the finish line with His grace.
