Faithful in the Little Things

You may be in a position where you are wondering if God’s plans are far in view. You are thinking maybe this isn’t for me. Maybe time has passed me up. It may look like a dry season for you right now, but be encouraged that God is looking at you right now. He is looking at your work that you have put in over the years. Your work is not in vain. He sees the tears that you have cried. He sees the encouragement that you have provided for others. He sees that you are faithful in the little things. It looks like you have been doing the same little thing, but your part in the kingdom does not play small. He knows you are faithful in what seems like the insignificant role. He knows you are faithful in what seems like the minuscule part. He is a rewarder to those who seek Him diligently; stay faithful in your position.

Do you know those minor details you feel like nobody is paying attention to are so important to God? Seek contentment in where you currently are. The very position you are in right now will be what God is going to use to elevate you. Your gifts and talents that you are walking in right now will be magnified. What you see as small in your eyes can be used as a platform through God’s sight. He sees your perseverance through that temporary moment. He feels your enthusiasm, even when it feels like another unimportant task. He knows your exhaustion through the repetitiveness of your work. God sees and acknowledges your faithfulness in the small.

Be encouraged that God is still building you. He is still going to use you in such a mighty way for His will to be done. He is still going to give you the desires of your heart. Give God time and learn all that you can through Him in this moment. Use the small to glorify Him. This is your starting point for breakthrough. The process often feels frivolous. Continue to break molds and flourish in your creativity, even when it feels minimal. Do not grow weary in your part right now. He sees your commitment and dedication through your works. Remain faithful throughout your assignment, even though it feels unchanging. God can change your position at any moment. Stay faithful in the few. He will complete what has started in you.
