A Sweet Surrender

God is here, waiting for you to lay it all at His feet. The act of true trust is complete surrender. Surrender to things you worry about. Surrender to the things that trouble your heart. Surrender to things that cause you pain. He is waiting for you to completely trust Him. That sweet surrender.

Completely trusting God requires you to step out of your own comfort zone. It is all in alignment with your surrender. Go before the Father with your concerns. He cares so much. That sweet surrender.

When you completely surrender to the Holy Spirit, then you will find freedom from your limitations. You will experience freedom from what you thought you once knew, to now seeing yourself the way God sees you—surrender. Lift up your problems to Him. Lift up that anxiety to Him. Lift up your sorrows to Him. Oh, what a sweet surrender.

Surrendering is going to cause shifting in your life. The uprooting of everything that had you down, will began to free you in the process. You will trust God in the silent seasons. You will trust God even when things do not add up. You will trust God despite what you see and feel. Cry out to Him. Go before His presence and seek Him. Surrender. That sweet place of surrender.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” -Matthew 11:28-30

“Then He called the crowd to Him along with His disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their lifewill lose it, but whoever loses their life for Me and for the gospel will save it.” -Mark 8:34-35
