The Wait

As we go through the obstacles of life each and everyday, it is normal for us to grow impatient. We grow impatient when things in our lives are not moving fast enough. We grow impatient when things are not going the way we feel they should go. We become weary- especially with the ever-changing world around us.

When you are in the season of waiting on the things that the Lord has promised, it is not going to be easy. It may feel like He has forgotten about you. He has not. He is not going to change His mind about the plans for your life based on how much time it is taking. He is not going to change His mind about His plans for your life because of the circumstances that are happening all around you. God is not moved by the things that we are moved by. He is an unwavering God. The Lord will keep His promises.

Keep waiting.

During this season of waiting, He is aligning the right people and opportunities attached to your purpose. Things are taking place in the Heavenly realm. Things that we cannot see. In this, we can remain confident that God’s timing is perfect. God is preparing us with every single ounce of His love.

Keep waiting.

He is with you every step of the way. When you grow tired of waiting, He is there. When you want to quit, He is there. Disappointment and discouragement will come. God will extend His patience and love to you as a gentle reminder that He will fulfill His purpose in you.

Keep waiting.

As you go through each day waiting on the Lord, I encourage you to wait with worship. Wait with praise. Wait with joy. Wait with PURPOSE.

Keep waiting.

“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: with the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:8-9

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6
